MOTAT Trip (28th August)

We had fun and exciting learning experience at MOTAT today. We saw different types of planes and  their engines. We learnt about the forces of flight, like the thrust, weight, drag and  Lift. Also we had fun doing some hands on activities looking at the different forces and air pressure.

Maths Challenge Monday

 Focus: Partitions
(Partition the numbers and find all the natural numbers which add together to get the given number).
Today we worked in pairs to solve maths questions.  It was fun and we are looking forward to the Tuesday challenge.

Get Firewise

Today Firefighter Mat came to speak to us. He taught us how to keep ourselves safe from the fire.
He spoke to us about the safe meeting place where you and your family will meet if there is fire in your home. He spoke about having fire alarms in the bedrooms, hallway and the lounge. Mat told us about Get down, get low and get out-Fast.
