Google Expedition

Today has been a fantastic day exploring world through Google cardboard. Expeditions are guided tours of places schools buses can’t go. They are comprised of virtual reality panoramas and are led by a guide or teacher. To get started, the teacher selects an Expedition from the list of tours. The teacher can see all of the locations (or panoramas) that are available in the Expedition. The teacher selects the first panorama and then clicks start.
The teacher can view the panorama the students are experiencing and can move it around to see the 360 degree view. Then the teacher selects the notes icon, the notes will be displayed on the right side of the panorama. The teacher can click a point of interest and a white circle will appear on the teacher tablet. The students will see a white arrow in their viewers directing them to look at the point of interest the teacher has selected.

We had fun and exciting learning experience at MOTAT today. We saw different types of planes and  their engines. We learnt about the forces of flight, like the thrust, weight, drag and  Lift. Also we had fun doing some hands on activities looking at the different forces and air pressure.
